About Her Story
Since I can remember, it was almost something about the way I saw a play or movie. Everyone would view the movie as good or bad, but I would question the characters, the technical side, the writing of the script and the angle of the camera. From then, I knew this was something that I wasn’t supposed to just watch, but something that I was supposed to create.

Born and raised in Sandusky, OH (Blue Streaks!) born to Howard and Marsha Minniefield Sr. (RIP) mommy and daddy, I love you so much! Growing up in the church, I was always part of our drama ministry at my home church, The Assembly of Jesus Christ Church, Elder Johnnie Cross, Pastor and Evang. Janet Cross, First Lady (who is an awesome play writer herself!) At age 17, I graduated from the Sandusky High School class of 2001 and went off to attend college not many months after at The University of Akron. There I majored in Media production Communication where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree May of 2006. While still writing and pursuing my dream, I continued my education and received a Masters of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration also from The University of Akron.
In 2007, I produced and directed my first play entitled, “A Daughter’s Second Chance.” In 2008, I finished writing my second gospel stage play entitled “A Proverbs Man”. It has always been a dream to create plays and film that is food for the soul for the entire family, and I have gotten off to a strong start with one production under my belt and a few others in process. I am so excited that you have come to meet me at this special time in my life.
Welcome to MinniWays Productions, this is just the beginning…..
Thank you!
Without Him, I am nothing. God, thank you for the vision and the destiny that you have birthed into me. With every word that I place on the paper, I pray it’s a platform for you to be glorified!
To my very dear and supportive family, to my parents (although they are no longer with me) I know that I had your support as a child and I strive to continue to make you proud in spirit. Thank you for life.
My wonderful siblings, we’ve gone through the good, bad and ugly, but you remain my backbone and support.
My loving aunts and uncles, what more can a niece ask for?
My crazy cousins, I thank God for each and every one of you!
All of auntie’s nieces and nephews, with every accomplishment, you are in my foresight!
My extended family and friends (way too many to name), you are a part of where I am today! Thank you!
To the WORLD’s greatest church, the CITY OF GOD- Calvary Ministries International, Youngstown, OH. It was an answered prayer when in 2009, God allowed me to adventure to a place called Calvary and the Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner became my pastor. I will never forget the words that he spoke directly into my life during his message entitled: “Star Search”! I Thank God that the year 2010 was the Year of the Open Door and now in 2011, it is time to see the manifestation of walking through the door. Thank You Bishop! To those who embraced me as a child of their own Elder Darren Thomas (Mom T), Evang. Sherri Brogden, Min. Karla Randall and the other ministers and church family. To a Man of God, I’ve had the opportunity to grow up listening to and who is now my pastor, Pastor C. Shawn Tyson and First Lady Tyson….It’s truly a privilege to serve, I love you all!
In my writing, I pray that it presents God as “ Center Stage” as “The Supreme Featured Guest” in a way that this world has never seen and that lives will be forever changed…..Up Next, GOD! (Thank You Pastor C.Shawn Tyson)
