Last week we left off with Charles and Jen making up after Charles smacked Jen across her face! After all the discussion of seeking counseling and getting help, Charles doesn’t think they need it, but has agreed to it because he would do ANYTHING to make his wife happy. However, just as Jen was preparing to make that call, someone beat her to the punch. So we pick back up there. * Jen has a puzzled look.* JEN: Someone is on the phone Charles? CHARLES: What do you mean someone is on the phone? A daughter’s Second Chance is a story based on our everyday life with our parents whether single or married. Much of this story is based on a true story of my life, however there is some fiction to this story as well. In this case, a single mother has two daughters. The younger of the two is off to college and has gotten mixed in with the wrong crowd. She has become very rebellious to her mother. After losing her mother to an unexpected death and coming close to death herself, Sherry rededicates her life to God and things began to fall in place. Ms. Price helps sherry get out of a tough situation. Sherry didn’t see all that she had in front of her, but she wants to help others realize the importance of honoring their parents. ADSC, premiered in 2007, in Akron, OH at the Main Library Auditorium. Charles and Jen have been together for about 10 years and have two kids. Of course starting out, they were that inseparable couple who everyone wanted to be like. Couldn’t get enough of each other and not afraid to show that public affection. However, they had a problem that never seemed to go away. They could argue for days and by this time in their marriage, arguing was getting a little old. It seems like the last 6 years of their marriage has been a constant argument. Now they had discussed getting counseling, but that word always seemed to mellow out the arguing, because you know, “They didn’t need counseling”. Although they have always had minor communication issues, this particular time, Charles’s last button has been pushed and Jen just doesn’t know when to stop.
